Dogecoin user attempts to send helium balloon coin “to the moon”

In true Dogecoin spirit, another fun story has arisen from its community. A user who bought his first Dogecoin a few weeks ago decided to attempted to put Dogecoin higher than it had been before… with helium filled ballons, carrying a balloon-modelled Dogecoin.

The person behind this idea writes in a post on ICanDoItLater:

If “shibes” are always repeating the phrase “To the moon!” why hasn’t anyone actually attempted to send it to the moon? I’ve always been one to take things too literal so I dropped everything I was doing & got stuck into sending Dogecoin to the moon!

Of course, it was unlikely that the balloon model, created with the help of Balloons Infinity, was actually going to make it anywhere near the moon. But I applaud the effort put into this fun little stunt.
